The hotel was tidy and the interior was rustic. Own bathroom with all essentials. You can reach the train station on foot within 20 minutes.

Worth its 4 stars. All in all, it was perfect place for travelling to Colchester. A shower and a hairdryer were a plus.
TBH, the room was a little small, we expected better.
